On August 27, 2024, the CTIF Statistics Center team visited the city of Pribyslav. In the fire brigade
museum and library, a ceremonial handover of specialist books and journals in fire protection and
disaster control took place.
These books come from the CTIF Statistics Centre's own collection. There, they had served as valuable sources of literature for many years. Now, it was time to preserve them in a dignified place for posterity.
The books, which cover a wide range of topics in fire protection and disaster control, not only enrich the museum's resources but also significantly enhance its educational value, providing valuable insights and knowledge to visitors and researchers alike.
A German firefighter who responded to the call for book donations in 2023 donated magazines for fire
protection and fire management from the last 25 years.
The library in Pribyslav houses an exciting range of specialist literature from many countries, each with its own historical significance.
The new books, including extensive reference works from Germany, as well as books from Switzerland, the USA, the Netherlands, Spain, and historically valuable reference works from the UK, provide a diverse and global perspective on fire protection and disaster control.
This donation will enrich the museum's offerings and makes it a valuable resource for a wide audience.
