Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Fire and Rescue Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of
Lithuania, we are pleased to invite you to the CTIF Nordic and Baltic Working Group Meeting, which
will be held from 11 to 12 February 2025 in Vilnius, Lithuania, in the premises of the Fire and Rescue Department, Švitrigailos str. 18.
During the meeting, we will discuss topics of common interest, including fire hazards from lithium-ion batteries (prevention and extinguishing), education and training of firefighters, and other topical issues. Each country is expected to prepare a presentation on each agenda item.
The detailed agenda and practical information are attached. Please do not hesitate to propose topics for the discussion under the AOB.
Please note that participation in the meeting is limited to three delegates per country. However, it will also be possible to connect to the meeting remotely. Connection details will be shared with registered participants before the meeting.
Please note that the organizer will cover the costs of the social event on the 11th of February and coffee breaks during the meeting. The participants should cover the costs of travel, accommodation,
and meals.
