The CTIF HAzMat Commission held the Fall meeting this week in Frankfurt am Main. 16 participants from the Commission´s member countries were present.
The meeting spanned over three days and the discussions covered topics like the climate crisis, hazmat accidents, future education, Training & exercises and New Challenges within the field of HazMat.
Other areas of discussion were on identification, decontamination, energy transition, foams, natural disaster impacting chemical industries, hydrogen, fire safety with Lithium Batteries and Dangerous Goods guidance.
