WRO and CTIF has a Memorandum of Understanding and we are proud to support this event!
We are thrilled to announce that the 2025 World Rescue Challenge (WRC) will take place from September 9th to 14th in Karlovac, Croatia, a city nestled in the stunning Central Croatia, renowned for its breathtaking natural parks. As always, the host team, together with the World Rescue Organisation (WRO), is working diligently to prepare an unforgettable event for you.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the local authorities, as well as the local and
national fire and rescue services, for stepping up at such short notice and for their unwavering support of the World Rescue Organisation. Your dedication and commitment are truly invaluable.
At WRO, we are continuously striving to enhance and evolve the WRC experience, building
on research findings, insights from past events, and valuable feedback from participants. In
line with our commitment to innovation and excellence, we are excited to introduce key
improvements for the 2025 edition. This year, we will be incorporating a second medical
assessor in each extrication challenge pit, ensuring a more comprehensive evaluation process.
Additionally, trauma teams will now have the opportunity to participate in three events
instead of two, allowing them to maximize their experience and learning opportunities.
I am eagerly looking forward to welcoming you all to Karlovac in September for an exciting
and inspiring event!
