CTIF´s General Secretary Michel Bour was recently invited to the International Security and Safety Exhibition during the second week of June in Moscow, Russia.
The visit came about after a letter of invitation from the Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters Mr Vladimir Puchkov was sent addressed to CTIF President Tore Eriksson to the International Security and Safety Exhibition 2018 from 6 to 9 June.
General Secretary Michel Bour went to Moscow to represent CTIF and also attend a conference about “Deployment of operational teams in a cross border disaster “
There Michel Bour met firefighters and people involved in humanitarian assistance from different countries as South Africa, Nicaragua, Uganda, Pakistan, Ghana, Chile, Nepal, India, Mexico and more.
The International Conference was about; “International Humanitarian Assistance, Experience, Realities and Prospects”.
It was held in the Noginsk Rescue Center of EMERCOM of Russia.
Next day the group visited the National Crisis Management Center (NCMC) in Moscow.
The day began with the flower-laying ceremony at the monument “To firemen and rescuers, and veterans of EMERCOM Russia”.
The day finsihed with a visit to the State Fire Academy.
