Ten dead in Taiwan hospital fire

Around ten patients have died since a fire broke out at a hospice in a Taiwan hospital, according to local authorities.

So far, at least nine people have been killed, and about 15 people have been injured.

Prime Minister William Lai is reported to be personally involved in the extinguishing work, which is now finished.

The reason for the fire and why it became so serious is currently being investigated.
